The tread pattern is notable for its large number of studs, which is half more than the previous model. At the same time, steel elements are not arranged in rows, as in the predecessor, but are evenly distributed throughout the tread. This significantly enhances the traction properties on ice, making them more stable and providing a more comfortable driving experience on such road surfaces. Another feature is the use of a more elastic rubber compound in the areas where the studs are installed. In combination with the special design of the flange, this reduces pressure on the surface, increasing the smoothness of the ride and reducing noise, as well as preventing the studs from falling out and preserving the functionality of the tire throughout its life cycle. It is worth noting the presence of so-called "braking" enhancers in the tread pattern, special protrusions on the rear wall of the blocks.
