Horizon HR805

The Horizon HR805 summer tire is designed for compact and mid-size crossovers. It is most effective on paved roads, demonstrating excellent stability at high speeds and while maneuvering, intense deceleration without hydroplaning on wet surfaces, fuel efficiency, and wear resistance.

The tread pattern is designed in a symmetrical non-directional design. It features an S-shaped arrangement of transverse drainage grooves, a solution that is not often encountered today. This design increases the size of the tread area that is constantly in contact with the road surface, providing a more even distribution of the vehicle's weight. As a result, not only is traction on dry surfaces improved, but also its stability. In turn, the numerous transverse slits and grooves provide high traction and deceleration intensity on wet surfaces.

The shoulder blocks are enlarged in size and have a trapezoidal shape in the lateral projection. These features provide these elements with high resistance to lateral deformation. In motion, this manifests itself in the form of not only a low tendency to lateral skidding, but also fast and accurate reactions of the tire to the driver's actions.
