Description High Performer Sport HS-3
The High Performer Sport HS-3 summer tire was specifically designed for car owners who value sporty handling, but don't want to sacrifice comfort. Essentially, this model is a "daily sports" tire, offering a high level of driving comfort, durability, and excellent comfort.
5-rib V-shaped tread pattern
The practically ideal balance of operational qualities of this tire was achieved thanks to the original V-shaped symmetrical directional tread pattern design. It features five longitudinal ribs separated by very wide drainage grooves. The central rib has a composite structure, which provides the tire with excellent directional stability and high maneuverability. It literally follows "the wheel", quickly and accurately executing the driver's commands.
Wide shoulder zones
Unlike the three central ribs, each shoulder zone is significantly larger in size. Their reinforced structure provides the tire with increased stability during sharp maneuvers. Additionally, their profile contributes to an increase in the contact patch size, giving it a practically rectangular shape. As a result, good traction on dry roads and reliable, predictable handling are ensured.
Excellent traction on wet roads
During the development of this model, a lot of attention was paid to ensuring maximum traction on wet roads. This is why there are four longitudinal drainage grooves with a very impressive internal volume. In combination with numerous transverse grooves in the shoulder zones, this allows the contact patch to quickly get rid of any amount of water, thus providing reliable traction even in heavy rain.
Key features of the High Performer Sport HS-3 tire
- a nearly perfect balance between sporty handling and high driving comfort;
- five longitudinal ribs reduce rolling resistance, increase directional stability;
- the double central longitudinal rib ensures stability at high speeds, as well as excellent maneuverability;
- good stability when cornering thanks to the reinforced structure of the shoulder zones;
- a short braking distance is ensured by the numerous transverse edges of the rectangular blocks in the shoulder zones;
- the large internal volume of the four longitudinal drainage grooves increases the tire's resistance to aquaplaning.
