Hifly Vigorous W601
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Hifly Vigorous W601
The Hifly Vigorous W601 commercial tire is one of the new products from a Chinese manufacturer, better known abroad than in its home country. The main difference between this model and its numerous predecessors is its higher performance on any winter surfaces. This is largely due to the involvement of foreign specialists in its development. Additionally, this can explain the very "European" appearance of this model.
Arrow-shaped longitudinal rib in the center
The central part of the tread features a very wide longitudinal rib of a continuous design. It has many angles and edges, giving it an arrow-shaped form. The combination of such features in the design gives this tread element multifunctionality. This is expressed in improved traction and grip characteristics, fuel efficiency, and directional stability.
Reliable grip on ice and compacted snow
The entire tread of this tire is literally covered with numerous wavy lamellas cut into all the blocks. It is these that form a significant part of the several thousand grip edges. This technical solution is most effective on hard and smooth slippery surfaces (compacted snow and ice), providing reliable grip. It can be further improved by installing hundreds of spikes, for which special mounting points are provided on the tread.
Key features of Hifly Vigorous W601
- an original V-shaped tread pattern with an arrow-shaped continuous rib in the center provides excellent performance on any winter roads;
- numerous wavy lamellas and spikes (in case of their installation) improve grip on ice and compacted snow;
- drainage grooves located at a sharp angle to the direction of movement provide reliable and confident behavior in adverse weather conditions.

Wrangler JK UNLIMITED 2014. Winter tire on 18-inch rims. Maximum 275/70R18. Very good impressions, no noticeable unevenness, handles well. Doesn't look aggressive, probably the only minus. And 275 width doesn't relate to the contact patch. Tire itself is the right size, all OK. But the width of the tread is already at the edges, and it's sloping. But I think it's perfect for winter, the main thing

That year in January, tires were urgently needed, Europe was biting, and I was hooked on reviews for this one. The result is that the four-wheel drive car starts to skid even on a gentle slope, 60% of the studs came off in the first month, although I didn't skid, the road is mainly snowy, radius 16, I don't know about others, but for myself I decided that it's better to have used or new European tires than any Chinese ones.
