The Herovic HU901 summer tire is designed for the most dynamic versions of medium-sized passenger cars. It demonstrates high performance at high speeds, has a low risk of aquaplaning and comfortable handling.
The tread pattern is made in an asymmetric directional design. The structure of the element arrangement is such that several functional areas are formed from them, which, complementing each other, improve the entire range of driving properties. The outer shoulder zone and the row of blocks adjacent to it are one of them. These elements provide stability against skidding during maneuvering, and when driving on wet pavement - against aquaplaning, complementing the action of longitudinal drainage grooves. The central part improves directional stability, and when interacting with rigid shoulder blocks - the speed and accuracy of steering during maneuvering. It is also worth noting the presence of a large number of straight transverse lamellas. These incisions increase the traction force and the intensity of deceleration on wet pavement.
Key features:
- curved grooves in the outer shoulder zone improve longitudinal grip, prevent aquaplaning;
- rigid shoulder blocks increase stability and handling comfort during maneuvering;
- longitudinal ribs in the central part and on the inside of the tread improve directional stability, reduce rolling resistance;
- a rubber compound with special polymers and fine-dispersed "silica" prevents excessive heating of the tread, reduces its wear rate, and improves grip on wet pavement.
