Hercules Winter HSI

The Hercules Winter HSI winter tire is designed for passenger cars. It has proven itself well in operation in harsh winter conditions. To achieve this, special attention was paid to the tread pattern and optimization of the rubber compound when creating it. A large number of tire sizes allows it to be used on almost any model of passenger car.

New additives in the rubber compound

When creating the rubber compound, special additives were used that provide excellent traction and coupling characteristics. Due to this, the Hercules Winter HSI tire has excellent coupling on a snowy road surface or ice. Also, the new additives have increased the service life of the tire due to increased wear resistance. It is also necessary to note the excellent recovery properties of the model, which allow reducing the load on the suspension elements and increasing comfort when driving.

Winter V-shaped tread pattern

When developing the tread, a large number of different design options were considered, but the V-shaped pattern was chosen because it makes it possible to achieve improved driving characteristics. This pattern is used by many manufacturers, but in this model, it has many new technical solutions. Among them, it is worth noting the strengthened central rib, which made it possible to significantly reduce the response time, while the handling became maximally predictable and stable.

The remaining tread part consists of a large number of complex-shaped blocks. Their diverse arrangement provides increased coupling on any road surface. Special attention was also paid to the lamella system. There is a large number of them throughout the tread surface. Due to this, the noise when driving has decreased, the speed characteristics have increased, and the braking distance has decreased.
