The Hankook RA33D Dynapro HP2 summer tire is designed for full-size SUVs and vehicles in the SUV category. It represents a High Terrain tire that is most effective on paved roads. It differs from most similar models of other brands with improved traction properties on wet surfaces, comfortable quiet and soft ride on "rough" road surfaces.
The tread pattern features a large number of narrow slits. Located in different directions, these elements form a large number of cutting edges that the tire reliably grips the wet road surface. It's worth noting the use of Aqua Slant drainage grooves, which further enhance resistance to aquaplaning by diverting water from the longitudinal grooves in the center.
Exactly in the center of the tread, there is a double longitudinal rib. The increased resistance of this element to deformation provides precision handling and course stability at high speeds.
The tread area is made of a rubber compound based on silicon dioxide and contains special polymers. This combination, on the one hand, increases the tire's grip on wet surfaces, and on the other hand, gives the compound strength on tear and tension, allowing it to withstand the increased load of the large weight of full-size SUVs and crossovers without problems.
Key Features of Hankook RA33D Dynapro HP2
- a large number of lamellas and slits make the tire very grippy on wet surfaces;
- excellent resistance to aquaplaning due to the increased volume of drainage grooves in the center and the presence of Aqua Slant water-draining elements in the shoulder areas;
- optimized rubber compound, elastic at low temperatures and resistant to increased weight loads.
