In the development of the tread pattern design, computer modeling tools were widely used, which gave the tire an optimal set of basic operational characteristics. A distinctive feature of this tire is the asymmetric tread pattern design, which significantly affected the effectiveness of combating aquaplaning. The large width of the shoulder areas of the tread and their rounded profile gave the tire high resistance to the occurrence of lateral skidding, which adds confidence when passing turns. In addition, the rounded profile of the shoulder areas largely determines the tire's resistance to uneven wear, which leads to a reduction in the life of the tire.
