In the development of the tread pattern design, computer modeling tools were widely used, which gave the tire an optimal set of basic operational characteristics. A distinctive feature of this tire is the asymmetric tread pattern design, which significantly affected the effectiveness of combating aquaplaning. The tire's tread pattern consists of three central ribs and wide shoulder areas with a sloping profile, separated by four longitudinal water-dispensing grooves, which, in combination with transverse grooves and numerous lamellas, provided the tire with remarkable traction and handling characteristics when driving on wet roads.

In addition, the rounded profile of the shoulder areas largely determines the tire's resistance to uneven wear, which leads to a reduction in the life of the tire.
