Design of the Korean tire Hankook 406
The tread design, specially developed and special rubber compound, reduces rolling resistance and thereby reduces fuel consumption. The central large groove of the Hankook Optimo K406 tire and the presence of transverse slits improve water removal from the contact patch, which reduces the effect of aquaplaning to almost zero. The use of high-density nylon, which reinforces the tire structure, has achieved maximum contact between the rubber and the road surface, ensuring safety during fast driving. The blocks in the peripheral zone have variable angles, which reduces noise and increases traction properties.
