The Dynapro HL RA25 model is a summer tire designed for use on crossovers, SUVs, and off-road vehicles. It is intended for driving on urban roads with occasional trips on unpaved roads.
Good handling on wet road surfaces is achieved due to the numerous grooves and the two-gradient system, which more efficiently remove water from the contact patch, resulting in maximum resistance to aquaplaning.
The specially developed original symmetrical tread pattern has an extraordinary self-cleaning property, perfectly removing water and preventing the tread from clogging with dirt, small gravel, and stones. The stepped profile of the grooves prevents stones from entering the tread, resulting in excellent traction characteristics when driving on the Hankook Dynapro HL RA25 tire. The tread blocks have an optimized sequence, achieved through computer modeling, which reduces acoustic noise.
During the production of the tire, a special rubber compound mixture with a large number of additives was used, guaranteeing excellent braking performance and dense contact with the road. This model has proven itself well among car manufacturers and is used in factory equipment on: Renault Koleos, SsangYang Rexton, VW Tiguan, Chrysler Journey.
Main technological features of the Hankook Dynapro HL RA25 tire
- increased contact patch due to the use of computer modeling;
- mathematically calculated tread pattern, providing stable traction regardless of weather conditions and reducing noise levels;
- three central tread ribs, consisting of rows of small lugs, providing constant contact with the road surface, maximum stability during high-speed straight-line movement on wet and dry road surfaces;
- four grooves allow for quick removal of water from the contact patch, preventing aquaplaning;
- the reinforced shoulder area with a protruding rib increases transverse traction when turning and stabilizes straight-line movement;
- small grooves, notches, and recesses dissipate heat;
- steel cord and additional double cord made of improved-strength nylon increase the tire's lifespan. They also improve comfort and handling at high speeds;
- a compacting cushion located under the tread prevents deformation;
- the reinforced sidewall and bead increase resistance to rupture and absorb vibration.
