The commercial tire Hankook AH31+ is recommended for installation on the steering axle of high-capacity trucks. It is designed for use in medium-haul transportation, i.e. on regional routes. It is distinguished by its increased carrying capacity and wear resistance, improved traction properties on wet pavement, and acoustic comfort.

The closed tread pattern features a large number of lamellas. Narrow slits with their sharpened edges provide intense deceleration on wet pavement. Another feature of the pattern is its enlarged shoulder areas. Massive areas with increased stiffness provide more precise handling and prevent the occurrence of uneven wear. It is also worth noting the presence of narrow longitudinal ribs in the shoulder areas. These elements also improve handling and wear resistance, but also reduce noise.
