Delayed aquaplaning threshold
One of the characteristic features of the tire is the absence of aquaplaning even at significant speeds. This ability is provided by the design of the drainage system. The performance of the four wide longitudinal grooves in the central part of the tread is supplemented by similar elements located transversely. Their shape has been optimized to maximize the speed of water circulation. In addition, the tread is equipped with so-called "liquid evacuators". These miniature elements work on the principle of a venturi. When in contact with the road surface, they capture liquid from the surface and then push it outwards, using the pressure of the vehicle's weight on the tire to create a vacuum. The technology is called Micro Dot.
