All-season passenger tire GT-Radial Savero HT Plus from one of the largest Asian manufacturers. It is designed for vehicles with increased cross-country ability and pickups, equipped with both all-wheel drive transmission and drive on one of the axles.
The appearance of this tire is distinguished by an S-shaped design of a symmetrical tread pattern. The central rib located in the center of the pattern has a larger width, which to a great extent provided the tire with excellent handling characteristics when driving on the highway. The surface of the central rib is covered with a multitude of zigzag-shaped channels, which, due to the increased stiffness of the central rib, significantly improve the efficiency of acceleration and braking when driving on hard surfaces, and also contribute to noise reduction.
The two ribs located next to each other are divided into separate blocks by transverse channels. This allowed, in addition to improving the traction characteristics on dry pavement, to significantly improve the cross-country performance on unstable soils. Also, it is impossible not to note the presence of four deep longitudinal grooves designed for quick water removal from the contact patch, thanks to which the tire successfully resists aquaplaning even when driving at high speeds, giving stability and safety to driving on wet roads.
Another distinctive feature of the GT Radial Savero HT Plus tire is the reinforced shoulder areas, which effectively prevent the occurrence of lateral skidding when passing turns at high speed. In addition, the shoulder areas of the tread have a strongly rounded profile, allowing the tire to successfully resist uneven wear, which ultimately leads to a reduction in the life of the tire.
