GT Radial Maxmiler AllSeason2 – a special all-season model suitable for use on light commercial vehicles. These can be small vans, minivans, and light trucks operated both within city limits and on highways. The tire provides the ability to move at higher speeds, precise handling, and directional stability.
The model was developed by the specialized Giti Tire center located in Hanover, where the new model was also tested, demonstrating improved braking performance on dry asphalt, as well as confident road grip. This was largely made possible by the use of a special compound that includes silicon-based additives. Their action resulted in a reduction in rolling resistance. As a result, fuel costs were also optimized, which had a positive impact on the overall environmental friendliness of the tire. Note that less aggressive components were used in the production of the model, which reduced the burden on the environment.
In order to protect against mechanical impacts that can be caused by hitting a curb, getting a wheel into a pothole, etc., more durable sidewalls are used in the tire. They minimize the deformation effect, maintaining stability of traction and grip.
The presence of numerous lamellas has had a positive impact on the behavior of the vehicle on both wet and snowy road surfaces. At the same time, the durability of the contact zone fixation and minimization of the slip level are noted.
Key features of GT Radial Maxmiler AllSeason2:
- year-round operation on light commercial vehicles (compact trucks, vans, etc.);
- stability of grip properties due to an increased contact area and abundance of tread grips;
- directional stability thanks to the ribbed structure;
- minimization of rolling resistance due to the specifics of the compound.
