Description GT Radial Champiro HPZ-40
The summer tire for passenger cars GT Radial Champiro HPZ-40 is a so-called "rain" tire. It is distinguished by increased efficiency on wet pavement, demonstrating course stability, ability to slow down intensively, and maintain stability while maneuvering.
The tread pattern is characterized by a V-shaped arrangement of drainage grooves. This allows the use of wheel rotation to divert water, making the likelihood of aquaplaning minimal even at high speeds. Another feature is the presence of long transverse edges of blocks, which allows for effective traction and intense braking on wet pavement. The rigid longitudinal edge in the middle and blocks on the edges provide increased stability and precision handling during maneuvering.
Main features of GT Radial Champiro HPZ-40
- the direction of most drainage grooves against the direction of movement and their multitude significantly increase resistance to hydroplaning;
- rigid blocks on the edges of the tread and a continuous edge in the middle ensure stable coupling properties and precision handling at high speeds;
- a rubber compound with increased "silica" content increases grip on wet pavement.
