S-shaped tread pattern

The tire is equipped with a symmetrical non-directional tread with an S-shaped design. This choice of designers is due to several reasons at once. One of them is the size of the contact patch. It is significantly larger than that of tires with a tread pattern of a different type. At the same time, the arrangement of the tread elements is such that the load on it is distributed much more evenly. As a result, the tire shows both good traction and reliable predictable behavior in complex situations.

Confident behavior on wet surfaces

The tread is distinguished by the presence of numerous grooves. Most of them are lamellas, which, like blocks, have a curved shape. It additionally enhances traction on wet surfaces, and also, more efficiently directs water into one of the nearby drainage grooves. It is also worth noting the transverse arrangement of these elements, which increases the effectiveness of the tread when accelerating and braking.

Stability in turns

One of the key features of the tread is the closed design of its shoulder zones. They contain wide blocks, some of which extend to the sidewalls. This preserves the initial dimensions of the contact patch when the tire is subjected to lateral acceleration forces, which provides additional stability when turning.
