The Gremax GM605 tire is designed for use on most modern passenger cars during the winter period. The model provides handling stability on slippery and snowy roads, as well as low noise levels.
The tread with a V-shaped pattern was developed using modern modeling methods. This made it possible to optimize the arrangement of block structures so that the tire is effective on both snowy and icy surfaces. The central zone is occupied by two wide ribs, consisting of separate ribs. They are complemented by three-dimensional lamellas, which increase the number of grip edges. As a result, the model provides a reliable fixation of the contact zone on a slippery surface. Thanks to the direction of the channels, the tread is quickly cleaned and its working characteristics are maintained in any weather conditions.
A compound with silicon dioxide was used for production, which has a positive effect not only on the coupling properties but also allows the rubber to retain its elasticity at low temperatures.
