The all-season tire Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons GEN-3 SUV is installed on SUVs and crossover vehicles. Structurally, it is a copy of the same-name "passenger" tire, differing from it by a reinforced frame and an adapted rubber compound. On wet and snowy roads, it is distinguished by the reliability of coupling properties, good tread life, and a quiet, soft ride.
The tread pattern is made in a V-shaped design with a large number of small blocks. The arrangement of elements in groups ensures the formation of numerous elongated cutting edges in the contact patch. They allow for effective implementation of traction and braking effort, especially on snow. It is worth noting the presence of numerous lamellas. They are turned across, which reduces the braking distance on rolled snow and wet pavement.
Main features:
- improved traction on snow thanks to elongated V-shaped cutting edges.
- high efficiency when braking on slippery surfaces is provided by numerous lamellas;
- improved handling is achieved by the "chess" arrangement of blocks and optimization of the tread profile.
