Open Tread Design
Since this tire is intended for the driving axle of a truck, it is not surprising that North American tire manufacturers have preferred an open tread design with a large number of individual elements. To maintain a balance of operational properties, the blocks were given an original polygonal shape, close to trapezoidal. This design, on the one hand, has excellent traction and adhesion characteristics in the longitudinal direction, and on the other hand, reduced rolling resistance and good acoustic comfort.
Reinforced Belt
Unlike most competitors, the belt of this tire is made of two-layer steel cord. The presence of such an element in the design gives it increased carrying capacity, resistance to punctures and cuts, and also additionally improves directional stability at high speeds.
