The Goodyear ASSURANCE COMFORTTRED model is designed for a wide range of passenger cars, but its "DNA" is revealed in the premium class, where quietness, smoothness, and lack of vibration are valued on a par with dynamics. Here, a complex of patented engineering solutions has been applied - from multi-layered noise insulation to special damping zones in the sidewalls. The result is a high level of comfort and excellent handling.

ANX Technology

The acoustic comfort of the tire is based on advanced technology. Inside, under the tread, there is an additional sound-absorbing layer with a special insulating compound. Sound waves from the tire's contact with the road surface enter this layer and are dispersed, without reaching the body and cabin. As a result, the level of acoustic pressure in the cabin is reduced by an amount that is clearly audible to the ear. This layer also works as a shock-absorbing cushion, absorbing micro-vibrations from road irregularities and not transmitting them to the suspension and body.

Ride Softness and Steering Accuracy

The inner layer of the tread, called ComfortLayer, has improved shock-absorbing properties. Its rubber compound and porous structure are specially designed to soften impacts. It provides on average 20% softer and more comfortable movement compared to tires without similar technologies. At the same time, engineers managed to preserve the clarity of steering. Another innovation is the DualComfort zones located simultaneously in the tread and sidewalls. They optimize the distribution of stiffness: the tread part is responsible for traction, and the sidewall is responsible for damping lateral vibrations.

Stability and Comfort

The ComfortEdge technology used in the creation of the tires reduces the level of vibrations that occur on the edges of the contact patch. This is especially noticeable at high speeds and when driving in a straight line. It also increases the stability of the vehicle when maneuvering - lateral forces are processed more smoothly, without jerks.
