Goodride Sw601 – winter tire that can be installed on a wide range of passenger cars, operated both in urban areas and on the highway. The model provides smooth ride, high level of control over the vehicle at various speed modes, robust fixation of the contact zone, both on icy and snowy asphalt.
The tread has an asymmetrical structure with several ribbed structures that are segmented into separate blocks. It is important to note that they are arranged in such a way as to reduce not only lateral but also longitudinal skidding, increasing control over the vehicle even in icy conditions. The presence of an extensive network of three-dimensional lamellas contributes to the increase in stiffness of the block structures and their ability to resist deformative impact. In addition, such elements allow to increase the overall level of grip, firmly fixing the contact patch.
A notable feature is the drainage system, the main role in which is played by central channels connected to each other by smaller grooves. Their overall size allows for quick handling of any water and snow volumes, maintaining the efficiency of acceleration and braking characteristics. It is not superfluous to mention the shoulder zone blocks, which have an elongated shape and extend to the sidewalls. Such a structure guarantees an increase in traction properties on loose snow.
The tire compound is specially adapted for operation in conditions of lowered temperatures. It contains a number of synthetic inclusions, including silicon-containing ones. Therefore, its elasticity always remains at a high level, guaranteeing not only the efficiency of grip but also maintaining driving comfort by minimizing the transmission of vibrations to the vehicle body.
