The tread of the non-directional type is represented by a fairly large contact patch, formed by two ribbed structures and closed shoulder zones. Thanks to this, it was possible to combine several properties at once. Firstly, directional stability, as well as maneuverability, which are ensured by two central "ribs". Secondly, the increase in transport stability during turns and reversals, which is further enhanced by more robust sidewalls.
In order to protect against aquaplaning, deep central channels are provided, which are connected to each other by means of diagonal grooves. This system is capable of quickly collecting moisture in the contact zone, and the sharp edges of the blocks cut through the water film. The result is an increased level of safety when driving on wet road surfaces.
The strong side of the tire can also be attributed to its compound, which is represented by a modern composition with additives that improve adhesion properties and reduce abrasive wear. Thanks to it, the service life has been increased, during which all working properties are preserved.
