Gislaved Terracontrol
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Gislaved Terracontrol
Summer tire for SUVs and crossovers Gislaved Terracontrol is a classic tire in the High Terrain category. It shows the highest performance on asphalt roads, demonstrating high-speed directional stability, maneuverability, braking efficiency on dry and wet surfaces, fuel efficiency, and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern is notable for its dense arrangement of elements. In combination with a special profile of the tread, this provides a significant contact patch area, which has a positive effect on both traction and handling, especially when maneuvering. This design significantly reduces wear, increasing the mileage of the tire. Another feature of the pattern is the presence of a large number of lamellas. Their sharpened edges allow the tire to demonstrate intense acceleration and braking on wet surfaces.
Key features of Gislaved Terracontrol
- zigzag longitudinal grooves reduce the risk of hydroplaning;
- optimized tire contour improves traction and handling, increases tire mileage, and increases its resistance to wear;
- a large number of transverse lamellas increases traction and braking properties on wet surfaces

Replaced the Chinese Triangle Advantex SUV (drove them for 1.5 seasons, didn't like the stiffness)
Impressions: the noise level is normal, braking has become better, on dirt roads and wet grass, acceleration from a standstill is much better than the Chinese ones, potholes (which are rubber, the worst ones)) are passed noticeably softer, also filters out minor bumps better
In general, I'm satisfied.

Very good tires. Quiet. Balanced well, even. Soft, but withstood quite sharp gravel. On puddles, it holds the course quite normally. Haven't checked on sand/mud

I recently purchased the tires, and overall, I'm satisfied with them. They're a bit noisy, but the handling is excellent. I can't comment on their durability yet, as I've only driven 300 km on them. I did encounter a heavy downpour, and at a speed of 100+, I didn't experience any problems.
