The target audience for the General Tire Altimax A/S 365 tire is not in North America, the brand's home market, but in the Old World. Applicability

In addition, the significant dimensions of the drainage system elements allow them to effectively cope with the removal of snow masses, which increases resistance to slushplaning.

The tire was developed with the possibility of use on snow in mind. It is for this reason that its tread has a number of features characteristic of winter models. First and foremost, this is the presence of lamellas, with the highest density located in the central part. They have a wavy shape, which allows the blocks in which they are cut to maintain their original shape during transverse accelerations. Therefore, the tire demonstrates resistance to lateral skidding, ensuring high traction properties on snow in the longitudinal direction.
In turn, the blocks of the shoulder zones are cut with straight lamellas. These tread elements, due to their large length and arrangement almost at a right angle, have the highest efficiency when starting to move and braking.
It's also worth noting the dual functionality of the drainage grooves at their intersection points. The cross-shaped elements formed in them are able to compact and hold snow when in contact with the road surface. This feature significantly improves traction properties on such types of coverage.
