The Forerunner Maxx Plus ATV tire belongs to the Mud Terrain category, differing in its highest efficiency on dirt surfaces with increased moisture content. In such conditions, it demonstrates consistently high traction properties, ease of handling, along with increased smoothness of movement on uneven terrain.
The tread pattern is designed in an open design with a characteristic V-shaped arrangement of blocks for MT tires. The key difference from most of them is the increased number of elements, which also have different shapes and sizes. This solution significantly increases the stability of traction and coupling properties on dirt surfaces. Part of the blocks are located on the very edge of the tread, which significantly improves passability on particularly difficult off-road sections, along with significant voids between the elements that prevent the tread from "clogging" with a mixture of dirt particles and water. Another important feature of this model is the use of a reinforced 6-layer carcass. This significantly increases the tire's carrying capacity and its resistance to impact, which on the one hand ensures wider applicability, and on the other hand, increases the service life in harsh operating conditions.
