Description Evergreen EH228
The Evergreen EH228 summer tire, despite being positioned as an entry-level model, is suitable even for dynamic versions of compact passenger cars. It is characterized by sustained coupling properties at high speeds, ease of handling during maneuvering, reliability on wet surfaces, acoustic comfort, and a quiet, smooth ride.
To a large extent, the balance of the tire's performance is due to the use of an asymmetric tread pattern with a reduced number of elements. This design provides a larger contact patch and even load distribution on the road surface, which improves performance on dry surfaces. It is worth noting the presence of a reinforced breaker under the tread, which further enhances directional stability and handling accuracy, especially during maneuvering. On wet surfaces, the tire demonstrates no less effectiveness. Its tread features wide longitudinal grooves and a large number of lamellas with elongated curved edges, which allows for the avoidance of aquaplaning at virtually any speed.
Key features of the Evergreen EH228
- a rubber compound with ultra-high "silica" content provides maximum effectiveness of the tread on wet surfaces;
- wide longitudinal grooves and lamellas with long curved edges maintain handling reliability in adverse weather conditions;
- an asymmetric tread pattern with a small number of voids and a reinforced breaker ensure directional stability and handling accuracy when driving at high speeds
