Description Eurotec N8000
The Eurotec N8000 summer tire was specifically designed for powerful and high-speed passenger cars. The speed indices W and Y assigned to this model indicate that we have a tire in the Ultra High Performance category, possessing the highest technical characteristics.
Exceptional stability at high speed
The tread pattern of this tire consists of 5 ribs – three in the central part and two in the shoulder zones. The central longitudinal ribs, in addition to their massive size, are distinguished by the complete absence of any breaks throughout their length. In combination with the size, this gave them increased resistance to dynamic deformation. As a result, the tire demonstrates exceptionally stable behavior even at high speeds. Furthermore, the rigid central ribs allowed for fast and precise reactions to steering wheel turns.
Excellent cornering stability
This model is equipped with an asymmetric directional tread pattern, the outer side of which is designed to provide stability during sharp maneuvers. It is in this part of the tire's tread that the Eurotec N8000 has a very rigid double longitudinal rib and an enhanced shoulder zone. The presence of such tread elements gave the outer side of the tread pattern increased resistance to the effects of lateral acceleration, allowing for cornering at higher speeds.
Superb resistance to aquaplaning
The drainage system of this tire's tread is represented by four longitudinal water-dispelling grooves. They are distinguished by their large capacity, which allows them to intensely remove water from the contact patch. This significantly reduced the risk of aquaplaning occurring across the entire speed range.
Key features of Eurotec N8000
- an optimized, high-speed asymmetric directional tread pattern provides exceptionally stable and reliable behavior regardless of road conditions and surface characteristics;
- three central longitudinal ribs allow the tire to demonstrate excellent directional stability and lightning-fast reactions to steering wheel turns;
- superb resistance to aquaplaning, thanks to four very voluminous drainage grooves that intensely remove water from the contact patch;
- a rubber compound with increased silica content provides more reliable traction on wet surfaces.
