Description Effiplus Himmer I
The summer passenger tire Effiplus Himmer I is one of the first successful attempts by a well-known Chinese brand to create an affordable yet highly effective UHP category tire. This was largely made possible through close collaboration with leading global tire manufacturers.
Rigid Central Rib
This model features a design with simple yet highly effective solutions, one of which is the structure of the central part of the tread. A wide longitudinal rib is located here, and the absence of breaks in it allowed this tread element to have high rigidity. In motion, the presence of a rigid longitudinal rib in the center of the tread is expressed in excellent directional stability at any speed, as well as extremely low response time to any control action. As a result, the tire's handling has been given not only stability but also predictability.
Asymmetric Tread Pattern
Unlike previous models, the Effiplus Himmer I was preferred to be equipped with an asymmetric tread pattern. The main reason for this decision is that this tire was initially designed for powerful high-speed cars, and today only an asymmetric tread pattern can provide reliable traction on both dry and wet roads in any driving mode.
Low Noise Level
In addition to high traction properties, the development of this model paid great attention to ensuring comfortable driving conditions, in particular, reducing the level of resonant noise and vibrations. To do this, the Chinese tire manufacturers took a number of measures, most of which affected the design of the tread pattern. First of all, this is the location of all its elements with a different pitch relative to each other. Also, vertical grooves appeared on the walls of the drainage grooves, the purpose of which is to streamline the air flows passing through them at very high speed.
Excellent Resistance to Aquaplaning
During independent tests, the Effiplus Himmer I demonstrated excellent resistance to aquaplaning, thanks to the high-performance drainage system. It consists of several parts. Wide longitudinal grooves serve as a kind of reservoir for excess water removed from the contact patch. Under external pressure, it is directed into transverse channels, through which it is removed beyond the tread. Since there are many such channels, and they have a curved shape, excess moisture is removed from the contact patch with high intensity.
Key Features of the Effiplus Himmer I Tire
- Asymmetric tread pattern developed with the help of foreign specialists provides excellent traction in any conditions;
- High comfort during movement due to the special arrangement of tread elements, vertical grooves on the walls of drainage grooves;
- Excellent traction even on very wet roads due to the extremely intense removal of water from the contact patch.
