Effiplus Epluto I

The winter non-studded tire Effiplus Epluto I is one of the latest developments from one of the largest tire manufacturers from China. Initially, this model was developed for European countries, where winter conditions are not as harsh as, for example, in Scandinavia. The tire is the result of close cooperation with leading tire companies. The size range of the new model for the upcoming winter season includes 16 of the most popular sizes from 13 to 16 inches, which indicates the applicability of this tire mainly to compact passenger cars. Despite this, the tire has speed indices T and H, which indicates its excellent technical characteristics.

Chinese specialists preferred to use the classic V-shaped design of the directed symmetrical tread pattern for winter tires. One of the characteristic features of the Effiplus Epluto I tire pattern is the large number of traction edges, which was achieved by using a large number of blocks. In addition, the sharp edges of the numerous blocks are supplemented by 40,000 cutting edges of countless wavy lamellas. At the same time, the blocks and lamellas on their surface are arranged at different angles relative to the direction of movement, which provides excellent traction in all directions.

Another difference of this model is the reinforced construction of the shoulder areas of the tread, also consisting of many massive rectangular blocks. Due to this design solution, the tire demonstrates excellent stability when driving at high speeds. At the same time, the shoulder areas of the tread have a small radius, which ensures a more even distribution of external pressure over the contact patch. Thanks to this, the resistance of the tread to uneven wear is increased.
