The winter model tires Dunlop Winter Maxx WM01 provide enhanced grip on the road surface. This model is distinguished from its predecessor (Dunlop DSX-2 model) by an 11% shorter braking distance on ice (with a significant improvement in handling) due to the maximum use of modern materials and technologies. This non-studded winter tire model is the most massive in the Dunlop range.
Dunlop Winter Maxx WM01 has an asymmetric, completely new tread pattern. The use of the latest technology in the production of this tire made it possible to apply finer lamellas, which provided a larger disclosure area and improved braking characteristics.
The production of a completely new, special composition of the rubber compound with a high silicon content was carried out using 4D-Nano-Design technology. This ensured the preservation of the tire's properties over a wider temperature range, including negative ones.
On a winter road, stability and handling are ensured by the shoulder blocks of the tread, which have an original shape. This model is noted for the best balance of all the main qualities, which makes this tire optimal for movement in winter and on bare ice or ice, as well as on loose or packed snow or slush.
The tire has 88 sizes from 13 inches to 19 (the smallest is 135/80 R13 70Q, and the largest is 245/45 R19 98Q).
