The Dunlop SP Winter Ice 03 winter tire is designed for passenger cars of various classes. It is adapted to the complex climatic conditions of Northern European countries. It is characterized by high efficiency and stability in handling on any winter roads.
The tread pattern of the tire is made in a directional design with a symmetrical arrangement of elements. Compared to the previous model, their number has been increased. The smaller blocks are arranged in such a way that in the zone contacting the road surface, very long V-shaped transverse edges are formed. This provides high traction and deceleration intensity on snow. Additionally, this design guarantees excellent directional stability.
The outer side of the tread is made of a rubber compound that retains a significant part of its physicochemical properties over a very wide temperature range. This is due to the use of special polymeric compounds in its composition. Along with them, silicon-containing components are used in the compound, which give the tread elasticity at extremely low temperatures, as well as resistance to abrasive wear.

Purchased in October 2019. 225/45 R18 for 9,500 roubles per tire (production marked as Turkey, 27-28 week of 2019).
Mainly used in Moscow city, with a fairly dynamic riding mode.

I bought the car in May and by winter it was necessary to put on winter tires. The first thing I noticed was the decrease in noise levels compared to the summer tires. Size 205/55R16. A good quality, well-treaded tire with a strong sidewall. A bit noisy (low frequency hum on coarse asphalt), but it tracks straight and doesn't sway in corners, as any directional tire doesn't like camber, which is not a big issue (easy to get out of), doesn't make you nervous when cornering.
