The Dunlop SP Sport MAXX tire stands out for its excellent performance characteristics. This tire is designed for use on sports cars with maximum comfort. In the design of this model, developments used in the manufacture of specialized sports tires were applied.
A feature of the tire is the use of Kevlar fiber located in the tire mounting zone on the rim. This solution allowed to increase the stiffness of the sidewall, resistance to rupture, tension and heating, ensuring excellent control when cornering, fast response and excellent handling clarity.
The rubber compound in its composition contains materials filled with nanoparticles. Nanotechnology applied in the tire allowed to significantly improve the braking performance on wet and dry road surfaces, increase elasticity and wear resistance. Also, during the development of the tire, the proprietary "MRT" technology with a more rigid structure was used. The use of this technology helped to optimally distribute the load in the contact area, and the shape of the tire, when the center of gravity shifts, changes more smoothly, which improved handling.
The summer tire Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx has an asymmetric tread pattern, which gives it increased resistance to aquaplaning.
