Dunlop SP Sport 3000 – a summer tire from the English manufacturer that has already become a classic. The model belongs to the sports-city tires, which provides quick response, maximum control and can withstand heavy loads. To give such properties, the manufacturer used its own technical developments in combination with a high-quality raw material base.
Among the features of the model, it is possible to highlight the tread with a solid edge, located in the central part. It is responsible for the quick response to turns of the steering wheel, as well as the stabilization of the vehicle during straight-line movement. Their action is complemented by specific elongated blocks of the middle zone. Having an irregular shape, they not only increase the efficiency of coupling, but also contribute to the suppression of noise. Due to this, it was possible to significantly improve the comfort in the cabin, making the tire suitable for long trips. The segmented shoulder area, as well as the sidewalls of increased density, provide stability during maneuvering. This was achieved by reducing the level of deformation.
Special attention was paid to the compound composition, which contains a significant amount of silicon components. On the one hand, they provide additional protection against wear, and on the other hand, they do not allow the rubber to excessively soften under the action of elevated temperature regimes. This affects the stability of the driving characteristics.
