Like other Dunlop models, the summer tire SP Sport 2030 was developed by specialists from Goodyear, which today owns the renowned British brand. At the same time, their work did not boil down to blind copying of existing solutions, but implied their creative rethinking. This was necessary to give this model the "signature" character of all Dunlop tires. We are talking, of course, about sports handling, which was given much more attention than comfort.

The tread of this model has an increased depth, which provides it with a number of other advantages in addition to an extended service life. We are talking, first and foremost, about increased resistance to aquaplaning. Four longitudinal drainage grooves are used to combat this dangerous effect. Thanks to the increased depth of the tread and the significant width, they have a considerable internal volume, which allows them to perfectly cope with the diversion of almost any amount of water from the contact patch.

Another feature of this tire is the shape of the tread profile. From one shoulder zone to another, its radius changes three times. The main advantage of this solution is a significant increase in the size of the contact patch. At the same time, it takes on an optimal square shape from the point of view of load distribution, which remains unchanged even under very strong lateral acceleration. The result is excellent stability and stability of the coupling properties in any conditions.
