One of the significant innovations of this model is the MRT technology. Its name is an abbreviation composed of the first letters of the words Multi Radius Tread. The literal translation of this phrase very accurately conveys the meaning of the MRT technology - it is a "multi-radius tread".

The "multi-radius" nature of the tread consists in the use of ten different radii, which makes it possible to achieve a very even distribution of external pressure over the contact patch, the size of which has increased significantly. The practical result of this technical solution was very accurate and predictable reactions of the tire to steering wheel turns.
