Dunlop Grandtrek TG31

The Dunlop Grandtrek TG31 tire is designed for installation on SUVs and crossovers. It is characterized by increased traction on loose soil, therefore showing excellent passability on sandy surfaces. The model also demonstrates confident high-speed driving on asphalt roads. Such a combination of properties was achieved due to the construction of the tread and the characteristics of the compound.

The non-directional tread has three wide central ribs, which are responsible for stabilizing the vehicle during straight-line movement. At the same time, the presence of multidirectional notches on them contributes to increased traction on soil (due to gripping edges). The properties of passability are complemented by the lateral areas, where blocks with small grooves are located. They also have a stabilizing effect when performing maneuvers, increasing the manageability of the vehicle.

As for the compound, it is quite elastic, which provides a more intense contact with any irregularities. Thanks to this, an improved traction indicator is achieved.
