Description Dunlop DSX
The winter tire Dunlop DSX is installed on compact passenger cars. The non-studded model, nevertheless, is distinguished by the stability of the coupling properties on any slippery surfaces and comfortable handling in complex weather conditions.
The tread pattern is made in an open design. The numerous blocks have a row distribution, forming wide longitudinal ribs. This reduces rolling resistance, increases steering accuracy, and reduces uneven wear. The pattern contains a large number of Z-shaped lamellas. The elements are arranged transversely, which achieves high intensity of longitudinal accelerations on wet and icy surfaces. On snow, the effectiveness is maintained by the height and significant length of the transverse walls of the blocks.
Main features:
- row distribution of blocks on the tread increases directional stability and steering accuracy;
- Z-shaped lamellas provide intensity of longitudinal accelerations on wet and icy surfaces;
- the height and large length of the block edges increase the effectiveness on snow.
