Doublestar DW16 – a novelty from a Chinese manufacturer designed for operation during the winter period on a wide range of passenger cars. The model is released in an extensive size range from 13 to 22, making it universal for many vehicles.
The asymmetric non-directional tread in the central part features a dual rib that differs in its width. This ensures stabilization of the vehicle when moving in a straight line. Wide shoulder zones made of individual blocks improve traction on loose snow. To fix the contact area on a slippery surface, a dense network of lamellas is provided, which improves the edge effect. Even without studs, the tire guarantees the stability of the transport on a slippery road while maintaining full control over it.
A special compound was used as the rubber mixture, which can adapt to temperature regimes. This was achieved by including siliceous components in its composition.
