The Doublestar DW08 winter tire is designed for snowy and icy rural roads. The "friction" model performs well on snow, wet and dry asphalt, demonstrating precise handling, stability at high speeds, and dynamic maneuverability.
The tread pattern features a V-shaped arrangement of elements. Extended drainage grooves, directed against the direction of travel, minimize the risk of aquaplaning and slushplaning. The blocks deployed across and the serrated edges of the elements in the shoulder areas allow for intense acceleration and deceleration on snow. The solid rib running exactly along the center of the tread improves directional stability and precision in handling, prevents wear, and reduces rolling resistance.
