A distinctive feature of the summer tire Doublestar DH05 is its scope of application. This model was specifically designed for passenger cars with an electric power unit. It is characterized by reduced rolling resistance and a high level of safety in adverse weather conditions.

High energy efficiency

Since the model was developed for electric vehicles, it's no surprise that the main attention of the Chinese tire makers was paid to ensuring minimal rolling resistance. To achieve this, several technical solutions were used. One of them is the reduction of tire weight. Its carcass is made entirely of synthetic materials. The use of advanced methods of cord winding made it possible to further reduce the weight, while increasing the stiffness of the carcass and its resistance to deforming influences. As a result, not only the rolling resistance decreased, but also the handling improved. The tire is distinguished by fast and precise reactions to the driver's actions. This significantly simplifies the process of controlling the vehicle.

Resistance to aquaplaning

The tread pattern of the tire contains a large number of elements that dry the contact patch to a greater or lesser extent. The key role in this process is played by longitudinal drainage grooves, which accumulate water directed by numerous lamellas. This provides the tire with high resistance to aquaplaning.
