Doublecoin DW500 – winter tire for passenger cars presented by the Chinese manufacturer. The model has a full set of operational characteristics that allow to increase the stability of the vehicle on a winter road and optimize the overall level of driving safety.
Despite being a winter season model, it is equipped with an asymmetrical non-directional tread with pronounced block structures. The latter form several ring ribs, which are responsible for stability when driving at speed and quick response to steering wheel turns. Each of the blocks is supplemented by numerous lamellas of a wavy shape. Due to them, the strength of contact on a slippery and wet road was achieved. At the same time, both lateral and longitudinal displacements are minimized.
As a compound, the manufacturer used a special composition that contains silica. This component ensures the maintenance of an optimal level of elasticity at negative temperatures. Thanks to this, the effectiveness of traction and towing properties is preserved.
Another important aspect is the drainage system, which can handle large water volumes, making the tire more versatile.
