Description Dmack Trackday
The Dmack Trackday summer tire is a product with an extremely specific application sphere. The model is designed for use on racing tracks, both during so-called "track days" and in competitions. About three dozen tire sizes are offered for wheels with a mounting diameter from 15 to 19 inches. All options have high speed indices - from V to Y.
Tread Pattern
In the development of the tire, technologies tested by the Asian manufacturer in its sports program of participating in circuit and rally racing were widely used. One of the areas of their application was the design of the tread pattern. Moreover, the exterior of this model is identical to the Dmack tires used on the "asphalt" stages of the WRC championship. The asymmetric tread features significant dimensions and a rectangular contact patch shape, which guarantees excellent traction on dry pavement. In deteriorating weather conditions, its effectiveness is maintained by numerous traction edges formed by lamellas and drainage grooves.
Kevlar Sidewalls
Another technological solution, often used in racing tires, is the construction of the sidewalls. Their frame is made of Kevlar cord. In a braided state, the threads of this material have exceptional mechanical strength, due to which the sidewalls have high stiffness. It helps the tire maintain its original shape under significant load. As a result, excellent traction is provided when cornering and maneuvering. At the same time, lateral acceleration forces are quickly transmitted to the steering column, making it easy to control and control the trajectory of the vehicle's movement.
Key Features of Dmack Trackday
- designed for use on racing tracks;
- tread pattern design copied from racing tires for WRC "asphalt" stages;
- Kevlar sidewalls improve traction when maneuvering and cornering, simplify vehicle handling, providing absolute control over its trajectory.
