The Dmack EcoXtra summer tire is one of the innovations of the English manufacturer, which has incorporated all the latest developments. Like most other tires, this model is designed primarily for passenger cars of the small and medium classes. The key feature of this tire is its low fuel consumption and long service life.

Original asymmetric tread pattern

When developing the tread pattern, the company's specialists took the classic V-shaped pattern as a basis, which underwent a number of changes, endowing the tire with a multitude of various advantages. In particular, the number of tread elements was reduced, which made it possible to maximize the shoulder areas of the tread. At the same time, the two central ribs of the Dmack EcoXtra were made very narrow. This solution was due to a number of factors, one of which was the reduction of rolling resistance, and therefore fuel consumption.

The massive sizes of the shoulder areas of the tread made it possible to provide the tire with a number of important qualities. First of all, the stability and stability of behavior when making sharp maneuvers, for example, when changing direction, were improved. In addition, the increased stiffness of the shoulder areas of the tread made it possible to significantly improve the uniformity of pressure distribution over the contact patch, which increased the tire's wear resistance.

Excellent resistance to aquaplaning

Despite the small number of tread elements, the company's specialists were able to provide the tire with a high-performance drainage system. Its main components are three longitudinal grooves located in the central part of the tread. They are distinguished by massive sizes, which allows them to accommodate significant amounts of water that is removed from the contact patch. When passing turns, the drainage channels located in the shoulder areas of the tread come into play. They are also distinguished by large volumes, which makes it possible to provide the tire with excellent stability on a wet road.
