The blocks related to it are rectangular in shape and are arranged transversely, forming a multitude of very extended gripping edges. They provide the tread with efficiency during longitudinal accelerations. The longitudinally oriented blocks of the central part improve directional stability and reduce rolling resistance. The gripping properties during maneuvering and cornering are provided by the outer side of the tread. The blocks located here are inclined, which reduces their deformation under the influence of lateral acceleration forces. Together with the long edges formed by them, this not only improves grip during maneuvering but also provides fast and accurate reactions of the tire to the driver's actions.
