The DiamondBack DR777 winter tire is designed for use in regions with truly cold climates. It is a "friction" type model, distinguished by reliable traction and coupling properties, primarily on snowy surfaces. Other strong points of this tire include fuel efficiency, smooth ride, and acoustic comfort.
The tread pattern features a wide double rib located in the center. This element reduces rolling resistance and wear, increases stability and steering accuracy, especially at high speeds. The blocks next to it are also arranged in pairs, which lengthens the transverse edges they form. This solution increases the traction force on snow. On more slippery and even surfaces, the effectiveness of the tread is supported by lamellas with wavy edges. They allow for intensive acceleration and braking even in such conditions, ensuring the correct operation of electronic "assistants".
Key features of DiamondBack DR777
- a wide double rib in the center increases directional stability and steering accuracy, prevents rapid tread wear;
- the "pair" arrangement of blocks on the edges of the tread ensures high traction on snow;
- the increased density of lamellas allows for intense acceleration on ice, rolled snow, and wet pavement.
