Dean Wintercat Radial SST Spike

The Dean Wintercat Radial SST Spike winter tire is designed for SUVs. Structurally, it is a model of the All Terrain category, adapted for operation on slippery snowy and icy surfaces. In such conditions, it is beneficially distinguished by stable coupling and controllability while maintaining efficiency off-road with solid surfaces.

The tread part of the tire is made in an open design with a symmetrical non-directional arrangement of elements. Mainly these are blocks grouped into continuous longitudinal rows. Together with a solid edge in the center, this reduces rolling resistance, increases directional stability. Blocks located in the shoulder areas have a trapezoidal shape in the side projection. In combination with numerous grooves and protrusions, this significantly increases the coupling properties on snow and facilitates exit from an icy rut.
