Optimized V-shaped tread design
Externally, the Dayton DW510 looks very impressive, thanks to the original V-shaped design of its tread pattern. It is formed by numerous transverse drainage grooves that converge and intersect with each other in the central part. They pass between numerous blocks that differ in a variety of shapes and sizes, which is due to the difference in the functions they perform. In particular, in the central part, there are elements of small size. They form a very wide longitudinal rib, thanks to which the tire demonstrates good directional stability and high maneuverability. At the same time, the edges of the blocks created by the blocks provide excellent traction properties on snow.
Increased resistance to aquaplaning and slushplaning
The above-mentioned drainage grooves are multifunctional. The combination of large sizes, location against the direction of movement, and a significant number of these elements allows the tire to quickly get rid of not only water but also more heavy snow masses in the contact patch.
