Continental VancoCamper
Tire specifications
DescriptionDescription Continental VancoCamper
The Continental VancoCamper tire has an extremely specific application area. The model is designed specifically for motorhomes and mobile homes based on small-tonnage commercial vehicles. It is characterized by the ability to provide a high level of safety and a long service life.
Excellent performance on the rear axle
The tire is perfect for use on heavy trailers with rear-wheel drive. Its tread features numerous transverse traction edges. They are formed by lamellas with a curved shape. It additionally limits the mobility of blocks, which achieves excellent stability and directional stability when driving at high speeds.
High reliability
One of the key features of the tire is its increased load capacity. It is well adapted to operation under the influence of the large mass of mobile homes. This is ensured by the reinforced carcass construction. It is all-steel. Steel cord is also used in the breaker, which further increases the tire's carrying capacity and its resistance to impact when driving over road bumps.
Effective deceleration in any conditions
The tire demonstrates effective deceleration even on very wet surfaces. This is due to two factors - the lamellas and the physico-chemical properties of the rubber compound. Most of the edges formed by the lamellas are located transversely, which gives the tire increased traction in the longitudinal direction. In turn, the tread is made of a compound with silica, which allows it to very tightly hug even the smallest road bumps, thereby gripping them.
Key features of Continental VancoCamper
- designed specifically for mobile homes;
- excellent traction properties thanks to numerous tread grooves;
- increased reliability is provided by the reinforced carcass construction;
- short braking distance on wet surfaces due to transverse traction edges and silica-containing rubber compound.

After only finding a few reviews I took the plunge and bought these tires largely based on price and the fact that people said they weren't going to put me in a ditch. Well, I'm glad I made them purchase, given this is my first foray into winter tires, but I was very impressed. On the plus side they are excellent in snow and offer good braking and excellent control in loose or packed snow. Of course my vehicle is 4WD, but they gave a great sense of

Tyres understeer not just on ice but even on wet grass. But on asphalt, there are no complaints. They are silent, very fast, very comfortable, and quite light, and they allow for a noticeable fuel-saving.
