The Continental TrueContact summer tire is a touring tire that is ideal for use in long-distance vehicle travel. It features balanced driving characteristics, with improved traction and handling on dry and wet roads, along with a quiet and smooth ride, fuel efficiency, and increased durability.

The tire is made with a compound that has been specifically designed with characteristics suited to long-distance driving at high speeds. The rubber mixture, with its high "silica" content, remains elastic at low temperatures, which allows the sharp edges of the tread elements to easily penetrate the water film on the road surface, providing reliable traction in rainy conditions. A package of special polymer components at the molecular level gives the compound high resistance to abrasive wear, tears, and the formation of small cracks, maintaining these properties even after significant mileage.

The tread pattern features an increased number of traction edges. A significant portion of these edges are formed by lamellas with a "three-dimensional" profile of the vertical walls. This profile fixes the slits in an open position when they come into contact with the road surface, which allows for maximum traction on wet roads due to the multidirectional arrangement of the lamellas. Other notable features include the increased shoulder zones and their rounded profile. This design increases the accuracy of handling and stability of traction when cornering, reduces uneven wear of the entire tread, and increases the lifespan of the tire.
